Our premier coach is available March-December for ages 18+ with complimentary beverages, catered heavy snack and a train themed keepsake.
Our vintage, originally numbered, closed coaches are climate controlled and available March-December on a first come first serve basis.
Open Air Coach
Our vintage, originally numbered, open air coaches allow almost a 360 degree view of our lovely countryside. Great for our camera lovers!
Special Assist Car 405
Seats 4 closed coach and 20 open coach and tickets available through ticket office to ensure availability. Please keep in mind there may be quite a walk from your parking area. Assistance lift has a weight limit of 750 lbs.
Free Downtown West Main Parking
Free parking runs the entire quarter mile length of the train. Please arrive 1 hour prior to departure. Late arrivals may have trouble finding parking.
East Main Downtown Parking
Free parking running the length of our downtown main street, most of this parking will be parallel. Please arrive 1 hour prior to departure, as parking may be an issue on our more popular days.
Prepaid Ticket Window
Prepaid ticket window is open 2 hours prior to departure. It is located on the back side of the ticket office, facing the train.
Take a walk through the train and vist our concession car for cold drinks and freshly made popcorn! Cash and card welcome.
Blue Ridge Gift Shop
While waiting on departure, visit our gift shop for all your souvenir needs.
Our Newly Expanded McCaysville Gift Shop
During our layover in McCaysville GA./Copperhill TN, stop in and visit our newly renovated, expanded gift shop during the hours of 12pm-2pm.
Welcome! A great family adventure on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway starts at the historic depot, built in 1905, in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. This charming mountain village is nestled in the lush Chattahoochee National Forest and is known for it's pleasant and unique shopping with friendly folks and an old-time atmosphere.
Our regularly scheduled trips are 26 miles roundtrip (4 hours ) winding along the beautiful Toccoa River arriving in the quaint sister towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee. You may ride in your choice of vintage, climate controlled rail cars or open-air rail cars, we also offer a closed coach premeir car service for anyone over the age of 18yrs old,
All passengers are required to change sides for the return trip to Blue Ridge.
Passengers have a 2 hour layover in McCaysville/Copperhill; plenty of time to eat lunch, shop for unique crafts and antiques, snack on ice cream, or walk across the old bridge in town to view the river.
