The CabrilloArts Summer Workshop brings together students, faculty and artists in an aesthetically rich climate to investigate theories and techniques in a variety of contemporary arts with presenters who are celebrated in their fields.
One of the largest college galleries in the Monterey Bay Area, hosting eight exhibitions annually, the Cabrillo Gallery is recognized throughout the state as one of the finest Community College exhibition spaces.
Cabrillo Jazz Series
Toward the end of each semester, the popular Cabrillo Jazz Series comes to life for a concentrated series of toe-tapping jazz ensembles, combos, big band, and jazz singers. Check event listings for more information and special guest artists.
Regarded as the "must see event of the summer" for over 30 years, Cabrillo Stage is now a year-round company presenting full-scale Broadway musicals to the greater Monterey Bay Area. Stage is noted for innovative sets, beautiful costumes, an outstanding pit orchestra and talented, professional performers. Jon Nordgren, Producing Artistic Director.
Cabrillo Symphonic Chorus
The Cabrillo Symphonic Chorus is a select vocal chorus of approximately 120 singers under the direction of Cheryl Anderson of Cabrillo College. The Symphonic Chorus has toured throughout the finest concert halls in the United States and Europe and enjoys a stellar reputation.
Cantiamo! is one of the premier choral groups performing in Central California. Under the direction of Cheryl Anderson, this highly select ensemble performs music from the full repertoire of a cappella and accompanied works of the past six centuries.
