Contribute and Be a Part of Our Next Success Story
It is an honor that Lakeside Players has the opportunity and responsibility to care for our community gem, the historic theater known today as the Rhode Center for the Arts. In today's economy, we understand that making donations may not be the easiest thing to do. Before you decide to pass this time around, please consider the following thoughts on contributions to the Lakeside Players:
CONTROL YOUR CONTRIBUTION: You can now choose exactly where your donation goes and when.
MAKE YOUR DOLLAR COUNT: Donations to the Lakeside Players are 100% tax deductible.
KEEP IT LOCAL: Renovation funds are spent on skilled labor by area craftspeople, directly stimulating your local economy.
HELP US HELP OTHERS: Your donation ensures that we may continue to be a creative outlet for many and a source of live entertainment for all.
It has never been easier to demonstrate your appreciation and offer your support. See the projects below to decide how you’d like to contribute to the Lakeside Players at the Rhode Center today!
If you have any questions or if you’d like to schedule a personal tour of the Rhode Center to see the projects we have planned and the progress we have already made, please contact LSP Inc. President, Jenifer Cooper directly: firstname.lastname@example.org

Current Projects, Goals, and Dreams
Jaedon Bain Memorial
The Lakeside Players/Rhode Center fro the Arts family lost a bright star in the passing for Jaedon Bain, a great son, brother, friend and extremely talented young actor.
His family has decided to honor his memory by creating a memorial fund for the place he loved most. The proceeds of this special fundraising effort will be used to enhance the facade of the building, including lighed poster boxes and renovating the front enterance.
Commitment to Preservation
The busy Rhode Center hasn't had much beauty rest in her nearly 85 years. Just as a little stage make-up works wonders on an overworked starlet, some plaster work and a new coat of paint will freshen up our aging treasure. Other cosmetic finishes will include carpeting in the lobby and both auditoriums, repair work on the marquee, and replacement materials on the iconic arched windows of the building's facade.
Targeted Goal: $25,000
Project Update: Three new windows for our facade, carpeting in our lobby, and tile work in the Ladies Lounge have all been installed. Persistent leaks in Ladies Lounge permanently repaired. Dressing room electricity improved and bathrooms restored. Project ongoing.
Technical Upgrades (Lighting, Sound, etc.)
The Rhode Center's Donna Wolf Steigerwaldt Auditorium could use a little upgrading. We are working with industry professionals to develop a plan to add an energy-saving LED lighting system, which will cut operating costs, increase lighting capacity, and improve capability and quality of our lighting design. A new lighting control system will keep everything running smoothly in our beloved "Donna."
Targeted Goal: $100,000
Project Update: A new lighting control system has been purchased and is fully operational. In memory of the late Mary Jane Carter, new lighting fixtures shine down on our actors. Much more advancements are still needed to reach our full potential.
Concession Stand Renovation
Our plan to expand the square footage, improve refrigeration capacity to increase beverage selection, create efficient storage solutions and add new offerings has been met by generous support.
Total Invested: $30,000+
Project Update: PROJECT COMPLETED with special support by the Vignieri family
Box Office Renovation
We partnered with Vendini to bring you an enhanced box office experience. We rebuilt our Box Office to better serve patrons like you with a bigger ticket counter, state-of-the-art software, and a brand-new look specifically designed to fit in with the not-so-new 1927 construction.
Total Invested: $1,500
